My Philosophy
I see my role in your child's day as a caregiver and play facilitator. I believe a child learns best through hands on uninterrupted open-ended play that is child initiated and directed and adult facilitated. My role is to support their play with guidance, caring and supportive interactions and by providing indoor and outdoor place spaces, equipment and materials. These interactions, equipment and materials will be based upon age appropriate, individual and group needs.
Although children need time to play freely, they also benefit from some structured activities. Things that involve learning the basics of letters, numbers and colours. These things are learned in a fun and exciting way with crafts, songs and games.
